'See Something Say Something' was launched to give passengers the opportunity to log instances of anti-social behaviour they witness on the transport network. It allows the team to respond directly to the cases which make passengers feel harassed, alarmed and/or distressed. The team will then focus appropriately on reassurance, enforcement and planned operations.
It has helped the Partnership - which includes British Transport Police, West Midlands Police, Transport for West Midlands and transport operators - cut offences on the public transport network. As of April 2016 total crime on public transport is down 6% year to date. This demonstrates the Safer Travel Partnerships focus and dedication in making the West Midlands as safe as possible.
